Why Eucalyptus grandis?

Eucalyptus grandis is a plantation grown, sustainably managed hardwood.

The large majority of hardwoods available throughout the world come from tropical forests, very few of which carry environmental certification.

Eucalyptus grandis is available from sustainably managed forests and can be supplied with FSC certification if required.

Eucalyptus grandis is a high density, strong wood ideal for furniture and joinery applications.

Eucalyptus trees drop their branches naturally as they mature, and therefore produce a relatively large proportion of knot-free lumber. Eucalyptus grandis thus offers an attractive option where clear, knot-free appearance is desired.

Being sourced from managed forests, Eucalyptus grandis is in good supply and its availability can be relied upon.
